Design, Development, Strategy
Peterborough Regional Health Centre came to us with an outdated website, that had not been updated in over a decade. It was in dire need of an update, in order to better serve its patients.
Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is a regional hospital in Ontario, Canada, delivering acute healthcare to a rapidly growing population of more than 300,000 people. With a wide plethora of visual artifacts, PRHC was looking to have a platform that could hold all the informational material, and share it with physicians, caregivers, families, patients and administrators. This library of material had been falling short, only available on social media, with little to no presence on a website that had long surpassed the limitations of infrastructure. From a revised architecture, to online payments, to e-commerce, to a human centered design that answered any queries the user had, the redesigned website is now fully accessible and responsive, meeting governing legislation and ensuring equity in access to all users. This independence of availability and accessibility has made the PRHC site insightful for its users, while also showcasing all the work that takes place within its facilities. With the website now launched, the Peterborough Regional Health Centre has been receiving stellar feedback from patients and their families, caregivers, healthcare providers and stakeholders. We are now moving into doing maintenance of the website, where we will be performing regular updates to the platform, and ensuring that the website keeps up with the fast growing organization that is PRHC!
